Firm on short-list for Global Award

International publication Finance Monthly has drawn up the short-list of candidates for its annual awards, based on votes by their readers http://www.finance-monthly.com/awards/global-awards and industry research carried out by their international research team.

The editorial team has confirmed Pattinson & Brewer’s short-listing in the category for Personal Injury Law Firm (UK) and reported to us that this year competition has been fiercer than ever.

Frances McCarthy, Pattinson & Brewer’s Managing Partner commented “We were not aware of our nomination so, it has been a pleasant surprise, at the start of a New Year. My thanks to the readers of Finance Monthly and others, in the corporate world, for their recognition of our work for individuals. We are very proud of our heritage and our reputation for always going that ‘extra mile’ for our clients”.

In the final quarter of 2013, Finance Monthly asked their 103,000 subscribers to cast their vote. We understand that between October 2013 and December 2013 a total number of 2,342 votes were registered with their research team.  To produce the short-list, the following factors were considered:

  • The number of nominations received
  • Supporting material, covering statements and evidence supplied when voting
  • Amount of documented activity within the last 12 months in comparison to industry peers
  •  Involvement in significant deals, cases or notable work
  • Recognised expertise
  • Innovation in client care
  • Size (value) of involvement within transactions, deals and cases
  • Previous accolades and entries within recognised guides

Finance Monthly provides news, insight, comment and analysis on funds, corporate tax, mergers & acquisitions and private equity.
