Becki joined Pattinson & Brewer in August 2018 as an Admin and Paralegal Assistant within the Employment Department in the York office. She assists the Solicitors with their day to day admin and legal work.

Becki previously worked in Account Management however decided to leave this and join the legal sector having always been interested in Law and hopes to progress to a Paralegal.

When Becki isn’t working she looks after her daughter and enjoys catching up with friends.

Nicola started working for Pattinson & Brewer in January 2015. She has been representing victims of personal injury since 2010 after graduating from Leeds University with a 2:1 degree in Law.

Nicola has experience working with EL, PL and RTA claims both litigated and non-litigated.

Nicola is motivated by getting justice for Claimants, especially when their injury has caused financial hardship or difficulties at home.

When Nicola is not at work her young son and 2 dogs keep her very busy. She loves travelling and watching the formula 1 and when she is lucky loves to combine the two!

Aaron is a graduate of Newcastle University having completed his Law Degree in 2012. He then completed his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in York.Aaron started his legal career in his hometown of Bridlington. He joined Pattinson & Brewer in April 2017 and works in the Personal Injury team in York.

Aaron also has over 5 years experience in private client work, specialising in Wills, Probate and Elderly Client matters.

In his spare time, Aaron enjoys cooking and playing cricket for his local team Acomb CC.

Meesha started working at Pattinson Brewer in 2015 as a Junior Legal Secretary within the Disease department assisting with the day to day secretarial duties. Meesha quickly progressed to a more advanced role working in the Employment department having expressed an interest and passion for Employment Law.

Meesha works for both solicitors within the Employment department, performing specifically delegated substantive legal work and is the first point of contact for all Employment Claimants at the York office.

Meesha is motivated by helping others who are less fortunate and getting justice for those mistreated at work. Meesha truly understands the situations Claimants face when problems arise within the workplace and believes she can make a difference. Meesha is working towards becoming an Employment Solicitor.

When Meesha isn’t working hard all week, she likes to let off a bit of steam by going Clay Pigeon Shooting at her local shooting club. She recently won the woman’s shooting competition gaining her first every trophy (which she is very proud of.)

Jonathan graduated from the University of Hull with a degree in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York.

He joined Pattinson & Brewer in July 2014, working as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury Department in the firm’s York office.

Initially Jonathan worked in the Road Traffic Accident Department, but now assists on a wide variety of Employer Liability and Public Liability Personal Injury claims.

Jonathan says that he is highly motivated by being able to achieve justice for individuals, especially when an accident has resulted in difficult and challenging circumstances in a person’s everyday life.

When he is not at work, Jonathan enjoys playing football and table tennis.

Lisa started working at Pattinson & Brewer in April 1997 as the office junior. After 6 months, she was then promoted to a legal secretary position. Following the implementation of the new Arista case management system, which was piloted in the York office, she was asked to train remaining staff in the other offices to use the new system. Once all staff members had been trained, she then undertook a new role as a costs draftsperson, drafting schedules and bills of costs and negotiating settlements thereon.

Lisa then took on a new role as a paralegal dealing with pre-action personal injury claims from inception to settlement. She deals predominantly with EL/PL claims but also has experience of handling road traffic claims.

Lisa finds it very really rewarding to take a client’s case from its inception to settlement being achieved.

When she is not at work, for the last few years, Lisa and her husband have spent a lot of their free time renovating their home. She is also an avid music fan and spends a lot of time going to gigs and music festivals.
