Lisa started working at Pattinson & Brewer in April 1997 as the office junior. After 6 months, she was then promoted to a legal secretary position. Following the implementation of the new Arista case management system, which was piloted in the York office, she was asked to train remaining staff in the other offices to use the new system. Once all staff members had been trained, she then undertook a new role as a costs draftsperson, drafting schedules and bills of costs and negotiating settlements thereon.
Lisa then took on a new role as a paralegal dealing with pre-action personal injury claims from inception to settlement. She deals predominantly with EL/PL claims but also has experience of handling road traffic claims.
Lisa finds it very really rewarding to take a client’s case from its inception to settlement being achieved.
When she is not at work, for the last few years, Lisa and her husband have spent a lot of their free time renovating their home. She is also an avid music fan and spends a lot of time going to gigs and music festivals.
